Our History

Wide Span Homes has been an important part of Wide Span Sheds for most of its industry-revolutionising history. Wide Span Sheds was founded on the Gold Coast in September 2000 and their Kit Homes range soon became well-known throughout Australia with popular designs such as “The Cabin’’ and the “The Outback Oasis”.

What We Are Made of?

Wide Span Homes is proudly Australian owned and uses what we believe to be the best steel in the world, Australian steel. Made from Australian TRUECORE® steel, our kit homes are backed by an up to 20 year steel warranty from renowned Australian company BlueScope steel. Additional benefits to using TRUECORE® steel in our kits is that your new home will be square, plumb and termite resistant, giving you confidence knowing that it will stand the test of time.
