What is off grid living?
In recent years, our stylish and affordable kit homes have grown increasingly popular in rural areas for individuals and families looking to connect with the world on a deeper level and live with sustainability at the forefront of their minds.
Off grid living refers to the concept of following a self sufficient lifestyle without relying on a utility for power. Oftentimes, this is achieved through solar panels that harness energy from the sun and kit homes like our green modern kits.
We provide our customers with off grid homes made from quality Australian steel to ensure adequate insulation, so you can rest assured that you will be kept cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Additionally, we offer the option of adding solar panels to the roof of your steel kit home so you can generate your own energy with ease.
Up to 20 years warranty
The Bluescope steel used in our kit homes come with a warranty of up to 20 years. Ideal for the owner builder or project manager, our kit homes give you the flexibility to finish the home in line with your budget, taste, and timeframe. At Wide Span Homes, we supply the steel frame structure and shell of the home, allowing you to source the rest so you can get the best deal on your finishings.
